the Impressive Design Laminate Course?

Impressive Design is here, and due to high demand, the Academy for Excellence in Flooring, powered by Quick‑Step and Pergo, is launching a new course dedicated specifically to the Impressive Design Herringbone laminate. This course focuses on correct layout planning, accurate centre alignment, and proven installation techniques to achieve a professional result.

A sneak peek at what you’ll learn

  • Learn the key characteristics of the Impressive Design Herringbone laminate, including construction and how the new Unizip locking system works.
  • Layout planning and centre alignment: Understand how to centre a herringbone installation correctly to achieve a balanced and symmetrical layout.
  • Templating: Learn how to set accurate reference points and use templating to address those difficult cuts.
  • Cutting, fitting, and edge detailing: Develop efficient techniques for cutting, fitting, and finishing edges while preserving the pattern.
  • Expansion gaps and transitions: Understand correct expansion requirements and how to manage transitions without restricting movement.
  • Tips, repairs, and maintenance: Learn how to replace boards, and understand basic care requirements for long‑term performance.

  • 1 Day Course - Course Only Fee NZD$200 + GST
  • 1 Day Course - All-inclusive NZD$400 + GST (course, accommodation + hotel pick up)
